As far as a divider goes, maybe low book shelves?

i always quite like shelving to break up room, like this but not so imposing as that room is massive you could diy a nice thing with scaff boards on the cheap.

Also we've got a lounge/dinner with no wall and thinking how to divide the space but not sure of good examples.

Any suggestions?
