My glueing got a lot less stressful when I was advised not to pump them up to "proper hard" after mounting them - as the tub will then try and roll on the rim, just as it does if you inflate it off the rim.
Instead of doing this put enough pressure in it to spin it, get it straight then roll the wheel on the floor making sure to press down firmly, then leave for 24 hours, then pump up.
It's stopped my tyres being very slightly off centre, which was driving me nuts.
