been getting some odd shouts recently in birmingham. today at the traffics lights near mcdonalds on the bristol road someone shouted "GO OOON FIXIEE" as i was trackstanding at the lights. i tried to see who it was but almost fell off doing so. sounded identical to a roller skating guy who shouted "YOO FIXIEE" at me in canon hill a few weeks back. any clues to who it is? and whatever happened to the good old "do a skid" shout eh?

When I was younger I used to get "YOO SKATEBOARD!" or "YOO BMX!"

Bound to happen now the whole FG thing is mainstream.

Somebody spotted me today maybe they are on here, I was making a right turn at Tettenhall lights in Wolverhampton, they shouted the usual "FIXIE!" I ride a cheapy Viking Trackmaster. Did not manage to see the car.

Laughed my head off today seeing a bunch of cool cats on brightly coloured fixehs near the Bromford. Funny because of the location, I barely see another cyclist on that stretch let alone fixed so caught me off guard. I was going the other way on my mums bike with a basket. If your on here chapeau!

Yeh that's my surly outside mecheng. Yeh they were abit fixie-stationary-nerds, hipsters do love their stationary.

To add to this, unfortunatly mine and my mates bikes wers stolen lastnight, so if you guys could keep a look out for a cream surly steamroller and a new blue n white raleigh airlite racer around uni/birmingham that be great.

Tip; lock it up somewhere else. The bike stands are only secured to the wall with small nylock nuts which would probably unscrew with a stern look.
