I used time atacs (aliums) for years. Now use crank bros (candy). I like, much smooth and easy to clip in/out. But would absolutely NOT recommend for fixed. Freewheel is okay but they are not reliable for pulling up, and they are not nearly as robust as atacs, so if you like to monster power everything, freewheel or not, then again do not recommend. Fine for me who cycles in a somewhat sedate manner.
