There's plenty of chat about Crr being higher with tape, but I can't find anything particularly solid on it. Given the huge variation in Crr values quoted between different tyre rolling resistance tests, I'm really not all that convinced.
edit - I've consulted my in-house CdA/Crr guru who says the it's real.
Conti carbon glue is just the same as the regular stuff (but more expensive?). I prefer Vittoria Mastik one but the Conti tins come with a handy brush.
