get a used Lumix LX100 or just increase your budget slightly and get a new one – does high bitrate 4k, slow mo, the works. Has an aperture ring and a relatively large enough sensor to get some shallow depth of field. And it looks like the bollox.
iPhones are actually better than most compacts when it comes to video so you have to go quite high-end to get similar features (120,60,30 fps, 4k et al).
