No @skinny won't need that. I rode with a very strong Danish rider on PBP from Carhaix to Brest who told me he abandoned 2011 with Shermers but then finished in just over 70h last year.

Yes, can be as little as 400km if you are constantly going up and down the gears. You can charge on the move though if need be.

Id say that this years variant would be to hilly for a tandem.

I think the logistics of getting a tandem back from Turkey are more of an issue...

Ok, better pack the charger then. I now have Compact rings on the bike so FD use should be a bit less.

I like the idea of the Brevet but I think I'm going to try some Castelli options. I like their San Remo, it just wasn't comfortable enough in the knicks. Maybe needed to size up.
