Not trolling, (not deliberately, anyway) but do does the forum think that the public in general believe athletics is mostly clean, with just the russians and the odd other-ian being caught here and there? The article saying that dozens of medals have been prevented from going to cheats seems to me to be making some big assumptions.
My own perception is that they are all pretty much dirty, but I may have my pessimistic glasses on today.

I'm sure the great unwashed couldn't give a toss. They seem to be obsessed with domestic kickball, which makes no serious effort to limit doping. If the plebs were interested in whether sport was clean or not, we'd see a demand to control doping in soccer.
