Seen a few more of these on the road since I read the thread, I know people have got to start somewhere with cycling but I'd rather do a shit job of building a bike myself and learn from my mistakes than have to pay someone for the pleasure

i gave seen a handful of foffa's in berlin actually too. makes me chuckle and shake my head everytiem. 80% was walkenged, the other 20% was locked up. dunno if that's a sign..

According to http://londonmania.ru/stories/english-bicycles/Foffa-bikes, your double Ф is correct. Mind you, they have a pretty narrow view of English bicycles so I wouldn't rate them as the definitive source. Davide Foffa of plesiosaur fame gets the same transliteration, so you're probably OK.

Cheers for that. Interestingly, as a bike brand Foffa appears to be spelled consistently using the Latin alphabet. It's only mentions of Дэнни Фоффа (no prizes for guessing who that is :) ) that occur in Cyrillic.
