Wow, that Pinsir had a CP of 629!?! Straight into my top five but lower than my other one, should I keep this one and ditch the old one? He was an orange circle target Pokémon...
Sorry about the pix...

Keep the stronger one and use the candies from the other one to upgrade it more(or don't till you level up and get another stronger one).

just hit lvl 21. 75k exp to get to 22 now. welp...

I'm finding with the gyms if you get to one that is your colour lvl 3-4 you can fight the first pokemon then run for the 2nd-4th ones a bunch of times so the gym will slowly level then dump a strong pokemon on and it isn't going anywhere for ages.

When should or rather shouldn't I be using great balls?
-
• #314
The important thing with them is to let go on the screen edge rather than in the middle.

person wasting energy making value judgements on people because they don't have the exact same tastes as them.
In reply to me? Was only observing that this whole thing has flown right past me. I definitely don't mind people playing games.

I'm over it.
Zero gameplay from my desk at work or while doing my morning poo so what's the point?
-

You wait ages for a Pikachu and then you get three at once!?!
I've now realised it's pointless powering up your Pokémonz, spent loads of stardust on my Golduck only to evolve a Psyduck and get an even more powerful Golduck.. All good...

This. Not sure what to do.

Transfer away all of the ones you've got, or would just evolve into something you've got. When you've maxed out your candies on those, stop collecting them and get your stardust elsewhere.
-
• #320
I've been evolving stuff for the exp rather than just transferring, so always worth catching. But:
When should you spend stardust when often one catches a monster in the wild that is stronger than the things that have had star dust spent in them to power them up to?

• #322
Yeah, which I've been doing the last couple of levels, but at what point is it worth using it? It seems like it's a process that won't end as everything seems to be relative to your level.

All pokemon have a maximum cp value.
There's a reddit thread somewhere that details them. I think the point in stardust is to get your pokemon to those max levels, later in the game, when it matters a bit more.

This...
I'm gonna try and save mine from now on... BTW Crazy scenes on the waterfront near our place, it's like a festival... I bet the local cafes and eateries are doing a roaring trade... The smart ones with pokestops outside their premises will be buying up lures to attract Pokémon hunters if they've got any sense...

PS I bought a six-pack of Moosehead pale ale tonight, it was on special...
Very nice...
Yeah, dodge loads.
