On PBP I walked round the control at Dreux
The mixed showers at Dreux in 2011 were interesting but after ~1160km I was past caring. Seem to remember mixed showers at Dalkeith (~720km through LEL in 2009) too.
I took 2 or 3 changes of clothes for those Audaxes but had wished I'd just gone for one spare set (shorts/jersey). I've certainly got more minimalist as I've done more and more rides.

Yes, i'm doing the same with a pair of skimpy running shorts which fold down small.
On PBP I walked round the control at Dreux and had dinner wearing a pair of boxers + leg warmers, and no-one batted an eyelid
