Ok, the spec says "compressed but not flat", which seems to leave some room for interpretation.
Here's the crank with the bolt loosely fitted:
Here's with it torqued to 40Nm:
Now is that compressed correctly? Every other time I've set these cranks up the wave washer has been at the other side of the BB, hidden under the crank, so I've never been able to eye-ball it before.
Seems to spin nicely, once my calls are done I'll head outside and cycle up the drive, but for now what is the hive-minds view?
