^dia compe needs centre pull rim brakes for mounting. Otherwise would have been great and less £££ than the nitto & VO options.

I think it could be made to work by using clamps from a track brake set or the clamps that come with some old style sturmey shifters.

This looks good too, minoura mini.

Ok, that's given me something to start with. I'd like to use the mid fork eyelets if I can.

Racktime topit seems popular too. Sits a bit high and maybe more sturdy than you need though?

any of you functional people got a set of 9 speed bar end shifters going spare? I'm going away on Monday and need some before then...

One more tour behind with my Pelago Hanko. I'll go for the 3x9 next. I need lower ratio for the uphills and higher for downhills.

Bike, gear and landscape all looks really nice. How long of a tour and where?

Definitely need more details - looks incredible!

only from Tromsø to Å i Lofoten in Norwegian Lapland on the Arctic Ocean coast. It was about 550 km of riding in total. Nice place and good roads. Definitely recommendable!

It surprises me how many people are using low spoke count wheels on stupid long rides. I'm sure they'll be fine, but the security of having a few extra spokes surely outweighs the aero benefits.
Erik Nohlin has broken 3 spokes on Sverigetempot already, delaying him every time. Get more spokes! 28+ spokes ftw.

Yeah I was super surprised when I saw Mike Hall ran 24 spoke (or something) wheels on the tour divide.
But then I broke a spoke on my 32 spoke wheel on TAW and had to replace it cause I couldn't get it true enough without a new spoke. Spurred me to get an on the road cassette remover and carry spare spokes. -
• #12568
Oh is it? Surprising.
Bet the owner of that spesh hasn't got any spare spokes either!

Reader's, for beer runs.

What's up with the hood placement on those bars?

What about it?

That's how Ergonova's are supposed to be.

I like it.

Or the Dia Compe or cheap alloy one here.
