On PBP I walked round the control at Dreux and had dinner wearing a pair of boxers + leg warmers, and no-one batted an eyelid

The mixed showers at Dreux in 2011 were interesting but after ~1160km I was past caring. Seem to remember mixed showers at Dalkeith (~720km through LEL in 2009) too.

I took 2 or 3 changes of clothes for those Audaxes but had wished I'd just gone for one spare set (shorts/jersey). I've certainly got more minimalist as I've done more and more rides.

Dreux was a funny experience last year. The food was great, and they had beer. But it was freezing cold in the showers, so I was shivering as I dried. And the sleeping was a bit odd in that the whole room had a padded floor, rather than distinct beds. It was mixed but nobody cared less, just curl up in a free bit. It was empty when I went in and when I woke up there were dozens of bodies everywhere.

I've seen you lot when the sun's out. Sitting in parks with your pasty white legs dangling out of old y-fronts. It's not a pretty sight! They should let parkrun continue and ban white people from sunbathing :P
