BN is correct - pedal spindles, and the reason for asking here is that the pedals in question did this before (my other set of SiSl2's, now gone to Damon), but didn't do it on Ultegra cranks.
So I think there may be a "correct" way of doing this - which may of course be to throw the current pedals in the bin and use a different pair (I "fixed" the problem last time by swapping pedals).
Could the surface roughness (12-1 O'clock) be causing the noise?
And finally, should one use pedal washers with Hollowgrams?

Bit grubby (bloody white bikes), but getting there. Swapped to a proper, American groupset. Just waiting on a lighter stem (kalloy) which is stuck in royal mail purgatory...

Hit up @mdcc_tester for a zero stack cover. All the freedom.

if you have a cannondale dealer close by they quite likely have 4mm'ish supersix headset covers
just be sure to get the 46mm outer dia version, there is 49ish as well.

NDS sacrilege... Saw me through C2C this weekend though. Can honestly say it's the best bike I've ever owned.
Also no back pain. It's gonna be slammed now!

Ive just got a 120mm 7° stem to replace the 130mm 10°. Went out today on it and it was perfect. Amazing what a difference a cm can make. Did the c2c two weeks ago and long days waiting for people at the top of climbs = back pain.

Pic fail. Added now..
I'm 130mm -17 quite surprised I lasted the weekend. But as I did it, only makes sense to lower it a tad. I'm only going to get more flexible. I hope.
Glad I stuck the 11-32 on the back after all for the ride. I would have blown up otherwise.

I found it fine on the flat but on those long c2c climbs not being able to sit upright took its toll.

Ah, for me I think I found the low front end helpful by way of stopping it wandering on the hills. Probably too much time spent on mountain bikes!

Quick question, how wide tyres can you fit in caad12 disc? 28mm? 30mm?
-

Long shot but will swap my caad10 in 56 for synapse in 56. Fans.

You'll get 30's in there, but with very little clearance indeed, I have 28's as I wanted to avoid an endo to faceplant situation when on gravel.

Here's my baby. I know want a geared Cannondale MTB.
-
• #6417
Thoughts on the slice?
-
• #6418
No reason why you can't run that geared too.
-
• #6419
You can but I'm loving it SS, though it is rather a little low geared for my liking.

Fair enough, just need a 11-36 10spd cassette, rear derailleur, rear shifters and a new wheel (AFAIK you have a singlespeed hubs that's stronger than normal hubs).

I need the BB30a specific drive side and non drive side spacers- and I can't find stock anywhere in Europe, can anyone help?

Ok, the spec says "compressed but not flat", which seems to leave some room for interpretation.
Here's the crank with the bolt loosely fitted:
Here's with it torqued to 40Nm:
Now is that compressed correctly? Every other time I've set these cranks up the wave washer has been at the other side of the BB, hidden under the crank, so I've never been able to eye-ball it before.
Seems to spin nicely, once my calls are done I'll head outside and cycle up the drive, but for now what is the hive-minds view?

looks like a goldilocks wavy washer, not too little, not too much
-
• #6424
Yes. I'd prefer it if there was a plastigauge-able figure to aim for tbh.

Looks ok to me.
Not a question for the Cannondale thread if that's the case. But yeah that would explain the ti.
