Me neither! Only thing I can assume is that the bend in the nail was already there and I hit it at an unlucky angle.
I was going pretty sharpish too, thought I'd snapped the rim.

I can't begin to compute how that can physically happen...
It was entirely his own fault for leaving SE1. It's not safe out there. :)
