Had wondered about Pixies. Saw them at Field Day the other year and was underwhelmed, but it was nice to be reminded of when I was a wee nipper going to see them in Vienna and in, erm, Gloucester Leisure Centre back in Doolittle days. Will wait and see if Luddlet #3 tries to push me into Bjork tickets - it was he what took me to Ally Pally for the Biophilia gig.
Also wondering about Stars of the Lid at the Barbican in october but none of my friends seem interested. Sniff.

I saw. Gutted but I can't make it. I'm in the US for the entire of September.
That'll be the second major gig I've missed this year after radiohead.
Still, pixies tickets for November also go on sale this morning. They will be mine.
