I keep a bit of lino on the floor under the bike storage bit, helps for if its been raining but tbh most of the marks on the floor are either from wine, tea or footprints.
Only real bike related wear and tear is on the hallway wall from tyre scuffs, but that generally wipes off or is easily touched in when vacating.
Smells like shite to me.
