  • Want a mash cx ;)

My Paris trip fell through, hopefully some time in the future it will happen.

  • I have one, I was wondering if he did!

  • I have one too ;)

Shame, shoot me a pm if you need anything !

  • Put the contis on but images won't upload :( they're rad! They run smooth to keep pace for commuting and they handled well over the Olympic park mountain bike track tonight even though I was fixed. Golden gear for now I'll be 49:18 and once I get the cx crank for winter 42:18, playing with chain lengths so we can weld the canti brackets in the right place but pretty happy with the gear and wheel setup now, convinced I'm moving in the right direction

  • Must be my connection cheers

  • I'm emotionally attached to this frame, think we've been together for around 7 years now. Always going through different builds and set-ups. Risers/drops, skinnies/fatties, high/low gear you name it. Only the seatpost & saddle have stayed the same since day one. Here's how it's currently set up.

  • If your image is bigger than 3mb, it can't be uploaded.

  • Yeah I know. The weird thing is that it didn't upload when I selected the photo from the camera roll but it worked when the same image was selected from my photo stream (iphone).

  • Sick dude looks so rad

  • Few of you may have been following my build thread but for those who Havnt welding happened today

  • looks so good. looking forward to moving somewhere flat again so i can re-install brakeless

  • For V2 Owners, Old school BMX & MTB's arch converter (U brake to V brake) can be adapted on bridge for brake. I'm currently using this solution, arch converter are a bit heavy, but who care on a Gangsta.. It look like this:

Going to make pics of my proper system soon

  • Thanks swedee, what you gonna do though? Function over form etc.

  • Nice. Looks over engineered. Perfect for G

  • This is a good project. Kudos for going through with it, I've contemplated over doing it several times but could never bring myself to do so. That SSCX Chari & Co BMW has been an inspiration to a lot of us I believe. The urge was too strong though so I did the next best thing, I got a V2. Lucked out an got a hold of the shorter version of the V1 fork they made with canti mount's installed. It still hasn't got any mounts on the rear or brakes for that matter but it's going in that direction. Ever since my pompetamine got stolen I've been thinking of respacing it to 135mm and getting disc tabs. We'll see though, I'm not really sure it's worth it as it already weighs a ton.

  • Dibs when / if you sell :)

  • Noted but yeah... you know how it is.

  • Yarp

  • Everyone seems to be moving more towards sscx bikes atm or it may just be me getting old. Yeah the chari and co bmw is sick so I just decided to go ahead with it fingers crossed it runs ok. Picking it up tmr evening so I'll have time to set up the brakes and start running it in. Your paint job is insane where you get it done? I'm gonna leave mine to surface rust for a while Untill I get some more cash to finish the welding then I think I'll put mine in to motöreeen for something special

  • dont actually look too weird with shorter a2c fork. whats bb drop like
