I was hoping they might have something in the parts bin to butcher. Guess I'll be spending the afternoon trawling through old techdocs to see which models have the same part... :(

What flavour of loctite threadlock should I get for small bolt applications, the bolt securing my sidi heel pad for example.

Anyone have a nice portrait orientation photo of the Tom Simpson memorial on Mt Ventoux? For use in medical journal. Will pay £40 for use and credit the photographer. PM me.

I seem to remember seeing a quill stem keirin brake adaptor, it was basically a brake bridge with a quill that bunged up inside the fork crown. Anybody know where I can get one?

It exists, but my advice remains to get a road fork.

Lomo make a cheap and cheerful Messenger Bag.
I cut the Laptop compartment out on mine, which has increased usability significantly.Still nice for 30 quid.

I was going to suggest the Lomo one but the price seems to have shot up. £15 when I bought it last year, £30 now. On the other hand it is a nice enough little bag for carrying small loads (I agree about the laptop pocket).

Alternatively clamp-on brakes exist which work fine but are heavy.
If you have an easy rake 40 or so, just get a road fork from evilbay
35 you end up with soma, 30 they do one in black only or all city does a fork in 30 -

I've got a clamp on brake going if you are after one. PM me.

Or just put any 40-43mm offset road fork on there anyway, regardless of what the original is. Anybody who can actually tell the difference while riding is invited to check for peas under my mattress

The 8 spline one?

Don't the 4 spline ones work fine in those?

You can buy them at Track Supermarket in Japan but pretty pricey. You'll also need a decent amount of clearance to fit one in

I need to get 10 jumpers and around 60 t-shirts printed for a university sports team. I have been advised to use Banana Moon - but is there any local forum printers that would appreciate the business more?

How far would you push inner tube sizing?
I have a flat on my 35mm rear wheel and discover that all my spare inner tubes are 20-25mm.

X post from wheel building thread
Which novatec disc hubs do I want for 10/11 speed SRAM road cassette and disc brakes with quick release? What's the difference between d711sb/d712sb and d771sb/d772sb, is one 10 speed and the other 11?
