I'm getting vape rig envy!!

I wouldn't mind getting a smaller setup if I'm out out. That said I started vaping to save money which isn't happening at the moment haha

That's why I started mixing my own juice, more power equals more juice... I can get through 15ml in a day on the Clapton coil...

Anything to look out for when making your own liquids? hints, tips, caveats, do's, don't's?

If you haven't got time / effort for mixing your own up you can find some quality homebrewer's on facebook groups.

"Chasing the Dragon" on facebook has £10 per 100ml (plus £4 p&p, but can order up to 750ml I think it is.) and the guy has about 30 different flavours at the moment.

It's a "Secret" group or something now though so if anyone is genuinely interested in ordering some of it let me know and i'll try put a good word in.

Can't knock any of the liquids i've got from him, and have been using him since January.

Like, what percentages etc. I see a lot of kits offering the same amount of PG and VG but I'd imagine I'd want more VG etc.

This one you can actually get different sizes of each depending on what mix you want to end up with

Experiment with flavours and record your mixes so you remember what you like and don't.
leave caramel/Vanilla and other rich flavours to steep for a week or so for better taste
Use high qual flavours
Shake well, and shake well again (and again)
Keep equipment sterile
Use a mix calculator and measure accurately esp the Nicotine (http://www.steam-engine.org/juice.asp)
Taste the liquid. It should taste good.

What @skydancer said... I steep my juice for a couple of days with the lid off then leave it for another five days with the lid on, I shake it up a couple of times a day...

I use 15% concentrate (TY4, an RY4 variant), 50/50 PG/VG, 3mg nicotine... My most useful bit of kit was a measuring cylinder until my gf smashed it, she STILL hasn't replaced it... Clumsy cow... 🙄

I mix myself too but sometimes get sick of doing it and waiting for it to steep etc. Next purchase will be an ultrasonic cleaner to speed up the time. Ten quid per 100mls is cheap especially of they taste good too!

Picked this up as a stealth setup. All black, and removeable 18650 which was the selling point over other devices.

indicatively, the T8 coil requires over 100 W to get 4V

and that's a 26A draw, so you'll need batteries or a device capable of that. RX200 is perfect, and I'm considering selling mine, as it so happens :)

Just bought a Kangertech Topbox Mini after moving up from the pen type vapes but finding that the battery wears down pretty quick and needs charging. The battery is not a very well known make I guess so I am thinking maybe a better one would stay charged longer. Is this normal the amount of time the battery lasts or should I get a better quality one. I should point out that from full charge it reduces by at least half after about 30 vapes. Sorry I am new to all this so forgive me if this is a silly question.

Any reason I shouldn't just go for something like this?

You can ask for a custom VG/PG blend too.

Tempted to go for a litre of 80/20 at 3mg and get some different flavours. Mix up some 30ml samples and see what I like best.
