• Mine changes to £399

  • That's similar to what I'm doing now. On the turbo 4 times a week + Saturday ride. I'm using Zwift with built in workouts. I tend to swap between 3 or 4. Some sprint intervals, some ftp intervals, some a mix. The Gorby, Wringer, McCarthy and SST Short. You can make your own workouts in it too.

  • Tomorrows Plan is pretty good - now the system that Torq uses.

Not free. I don't use it because it seems to think that the best way to train for endurance with 15hrs a week is to do 15hrs of intervals. Think it allows you to do things like upload the workout to your Garmin etc.

  • @Howard
if i proceed and order the cranks, would you be able to come over to mine to help me extract the cannondale cranks and to help install them and practice moving the cranks from bike to bike?

would cook for you and @Doctor_Cake

  • It's a trap.

  • Food before or after realisation of missing essential part/BBcrank incompatibility?

  • A planned gentle afternoon of bbq and fettling, turning into an evening of frustration.

  • ^ It really is a trap!

  • gentle afternoon of bbq and fettling

So things have moved on from "Netflix and chill". It's so hard to keep up with modern idioms.

  • so an afternoon of getting stuffed with meat and playing with tools and lubricants

  • Anyone have a spare black one of these?

  • Fairly sure I have. Will check this arvo.

    EDIT - Yep, see pic

  • Great, thanks.

  • how quickly do power2max complete orders?

  • 2-3 weeks, unless you are @Hoke

  • 2-3 weeks normally, IME.

  • cool, i have been humming and haa-ing for too long

  • One of my G3 Powertaps is consistently showing power data well below what I would otherwise expect - in the 10s, instead of the (low) hundreds.

The cadence reading is sometimes very low too, although intermittently.

I have changed the battery, but with little impact. Is there anything else I should be trying?

  • What does it read when you calibrate it?

  • Noob question alert

I'm looking at data from a fairly flat TT to try and establish what my optimum cadence/power might be. Apart from comparing the cadence, altitude and power graphs, is there an intelligent way of doing this?

  • It's hosed, post it to Paligap.

  • How much, roughly, does it cost to fix?

I think one of mine might have gone the same way (haven't had a chance to change the battery and retry it).

Data was fine for 3 or 4 hours but then started reading 4W for me pushing out close to evens. A 90 minute rest and it started working again ok.
