It's odd, the area where the discolouration appeared was under the tape, but where the tape (which was old and a bit shit) didn't stick down. It wasn't under the straps. It looks to me as if the non-stuck down tape (which is clear) formed some kind of lense, maybe. It's now fading back out again with the new, non-shit, stuck down fully tape. Odd.
