I'll just be happy to stay out of the sphere of influence of May-hem and Bo-jo, however it comes around.
I think the unfavourable comparison between May and Thatcher, whilst like cat-nip to the entitled Tories down South is like anthrax to her political reputation up here. Serving it up with the private-school japes of Johnson and that most particular anus dispensary that is Jeremy Hunt just douses that already limp and lifeless political glans in an ice-bucket: the Tories are even more unelectable than the Blairite infighting and their proxy-muppet in Scotland Kezia "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing" Dugdale. The new Scottish Secretary David Mundell is likewise about as endearing to the general populace as an outbreak of Spanish Flu and likely to just enflame the already prominent notion that even after years of strong hints, Westminster politics shows no more sign of understanding what is going on up here than it did when Churchill sent tanks to occupy George Square in Glasgow.
