  • I figured that was the extension range.

The faceplate bolt distance is made to order.

Although there must be a minimum looking at the design.

  • You can buy the plastic bit that grips the garmin separatly.

So you just need to 3D print a few off. I've not had much Luck With 3D printed Mounts though. But then I torque everything to cracking point then back off half a turn.

I had Access to a 3D printer when I was looking. But couldnt find a file for one. What you need is a clever person to modify one of the many clamp based Mounts in the free 3D file Library.

  • Thanks to Breso the Garmin mount situation is resolved:

  • All kinds of awesome. Don't need any lights anymore. Old school logo is also a great touch.

  • I like the Caleido tape :)

(other things too, obvs, but a nice detail)

  • First (proper) ride today, club run with Brixton CC, its really good fun.

Ed Scoble took a snap to prove I do actually ride my bikes:

  • Every now and then.

  • Saddle is too high

  • was about to post the same.

    turned our really nice!

    weight?

  • 7.8kg

  • Awesome.

  • Very respectable for a disc alu bike .. da9100 soon?

  • Nah, very happy with it as-is.

  • Sock game is on point. Lovely bike. :)

  • Needs to be painted matte black, saddle looks weird, wheels too flaccid, I'd have had more gears

  • +1 for the nice socks

  • Sky shorts though! Do you think of Rupert Murdoch every time you tuck your bits in after a tinkle?

  • I refuse to wave at cyclists in Sky kit FYI

  • I think if you are wearing sky bibs you are allowed to go full dirty protest.

  • Even Mr Murdoch's face printed on the chamois would deliver enough satisfaction for me.

  • Sky shorts though! Do you think of Rupert Murdoch every time you tuck your bits in after a tinkle?

Sky kit in the sale, with the old Rapha discount on top: hard to turn down.

Works just as well as the non-branded stuff, so I don't really care if I look Mamil-tastic.

  • As Rob observed this arvo, the KAAD12 is in more than a few regards Time Machine #2:

  • Bugger.

  • Wassup?

  • Some sort of issue between the tape I put on (irony warning!) to protect the paint, and the paint.

Hopefully I can cut it back, but if not it looks like a complete re-paint, which would happen over winter as I want to ride it at the moment.
