  • I'm after some gumwalls mostly for posing but a bit of racing too. Veloflex Masters seem to fit the bill as they have good grip, are affordable and are lightweight. It seems their not the toughest tyre though - what are people's experiences with them on rough English roads?

Riding on Veloflex Corsa 25's (the black walled version of Master) and love them. Probably about 200 city / 600 country miles so far, no cuts and punctures. Good dry grip, not tried them in the wet. Very comfy in combo with latex tubes at 90psi front/100psi back.

  • Veloflex Masters are too thin, they would be fine as a race tyre but not for rough roads/everyday use. Swapped mine out after a few hundred km because I was getting so many punctures.

I'm selling some brand new Challenge gumwalls, PM me if you're interested! /spam
