They were talking about Froome, though maybe they meant the yellow jersey, etc as UCI supplied.
It did seem odd, but was said.
Kirby doesn't understand diddly squat about cycling. Why would a sport's governing body supply the clothing at a race promoted by a separate company, i.e. ASO? It's bullshit.
