I have a TT frame with internal cable routing for the RD which goes into the Headtube and down the Seatstay. I'd prefer an internally routing gear cable through the extension and then bending into the HT. Trouble is I have a fair amount of stack and this would require a fairly tight 'S' bend from the exit of the extension, to the HT entry-point.
Aero-wise, I know this might be a bit of a mess (ideally I'll find a cheap 10sp Di2 soon), but for the interim would it be better to: a. Tight S-bend from extension to HT entry. b. Sort-of spiral the outer from the extension, crossing the headtube over to the left side of the frame and then back to the right-side for the cable-entry point. c. Suck it up and route the cable externally to the extension giving a clean bend.
??
I'll try to take photos later unless the concensus is c...
