A shame all the booing
I was saying Boo-urns
-
• #1278
I think it's a pretty fair ruling really.. A shame tho cause Adam Yates had just attacked off the front

Ned B: "To explain: They've given Porte and Froome the same time as Mollema."
Edit; fucking new page fail.

froome saying in interview "Ventoux full of surprises. Motto slammed on brakes, the three piled into it. Second motto crashed into the back and broke his frame. Glad commissaries took that decision, thank you to them and the organisers"

I hope Porte got credited with same time as Mollema as well.
Wtf happened out there! -
• #1282
Haha rep
-
• #1283
2min 22sec after yesterday stage, today the same.
-
• #1284
Ooof.
Probably the best decision, although a shame for Yates.
-
• #1285
Froome now DQ'd for being 6.8kg under the 6.8kg weight limit for 250m?
-
• #1286
Frooooooooome
-
• #1287
Froomes ketones drink?
-
• #1288
Why?
No.
Yates would sooner die that wear the Yellow, from that farce. -

-
• #1290
Hmmm.
-
• #1291
Oh I'm sure, didn't mean that. Just a shame that as he was attacking the rest of the group he was with, that he didn't benefit from being the stronger rider. But hopefully he can make that stick on another climb
(and to be clear, oof is W/R/T Froome getting rear-ended by another moto)
-
• #1292
very risky from froome to leave his bike at the side of the road. surely Aru will have seen it and switched on to it

• #1293
recognise this guy?

• #1294
Yeah. Shame we didn't get to see who had what.
Yates did seem to have more in him.
Hopefully he brings that to the Alps. -
• #1295
Ha. Not quite.
-
• #1296
Ha. Re-watching the last hour.
The leaders coming up to the line, but we'll have about 6 min to wait till the rest cross the line, assuming nothing untoward happens
...

Looks like rear stay had snapped on Froome's bike, from the motorbike behind rolling over it.
-
• #1298
Well found

So haven't seen, good decision by the commissaires? The CN forums are in meltdown with people either saying its fair or part of the giant conspiracy with the UCI and ASO in Sky's pockets, and everyone being controlled by the puppet master Murdoch, who is actually Thanos in disguise from Guardians of the Galaxy.
I've never really warmed to Froome, but all the shit that gets chucked at him makes me feel the need to defend him, sort of like going to the pound and picking the gangly, weird dog that nobody wants.. Not sure he deserved boos for a decision that wasn't his. And good lad on Adam Yates saying he wouldn't want to take the yellow that way.
Also why on earth do people get so wound up and tribal over cycling? Never worked it out.

Lots of people were duped by Lance Armstrong, don't want to be duped again so treat everything with total scepticism.
Froome got given the same time as Mollema.
It would have made it more interesting if they'd kept it. Poor Yates.
