I'm doing some work for UK Marketing at the moment which includes giving away free coffee via flyers. Holla if you see me round Central or Shoreditch, happy to do a cross style flyer hand up for commuters.

Can any Rapha types tell me whether the Classic Softshell is likely to make a return at some point?

I want one of these.
It's the first gilet I could imagine using.
All out of stock though.

Lucky you is that how you order?

By just saying I want it in the thread on here? I wish.
No, I've emailed the RCC concierge and have asked whether they have any lying around so that I can send them my monies for one.

Are you a large?
-
• #26334
I am.
Until I stop eating ice cream.
But that will never happen.

Thanks for that :)
I've wanted one for a while, and then this morning realised it would be the perfect Dunwich Dynamo clothing. Not too hot, not too cold... just right.
Even my Rapha Softshell is way too much, but just a jersey by itself isn't going to be enough at 3am.
And I want whatever I take to pack small... real small... small enough to fit in my saddle bag or bar bag. The gilet could do this.

May take you up on that.
Where are you working nowadays? Centralish?
-
• #26339
You'll boil. Last Sunday early morning in Suffolk was pro team baselayer and club jersey with a lightweight gilet.

Are they meant to be coming back in stock?
-
• #26343
Apparently new stock in September, they have absolutely none at the moment.

Bought the Core jersey and rode it today. Very very happy about that purchase. Perfect mix between not spending too much and getting a lot of quality for my money. And subtle dark thunder blue makes me happy as well. 10/10
Will try core bobs next I reckon... -

Found an alternative to the brevet insulated gilet for long rides in the cool of night or Autumn and Spring... the pro team lightweight wind jacket.
http://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/pro-team-lightweight-wind-jacket/product/PLK01
It packs so small I can just put it in a jersey pocket, and will be enough to prevent a little chill with other layers.
And I agree, a steady income ruins us all.

Is there a cheaper alternative to the PT Race Cape?
http://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/pro-team-race-cape/product/RNC05I've got a Rapha softshell jacket but think it might be bulky and a bit overkill for TCR. I don't fancy spending another £200 on cycling kit.

How have Rapha not sponsored you yet?
You still stubborn and lazy and not willing to do the photo shoots and promo stuff?
Want LFGSS to sponsor? As in... whip round of people who would support your equipment fetish so that you can have more stuff. There's enough people at different companies that some would get you a staff discount.

Pearl Izumi PRO Aero WXB? Very waterproof, a bit of stretch, not quite as tight as Race cape. Only good if you have long arms though.
Awesome spectacle. Like a spunky firework.
