Fair enough. I do cringe when I see people DIY-ing front discs onto rim brake forks though. This is because when I had Genesis Croix I had to buy some bolt replacements for the QRs. Every time I broke hard the the wheel would twist out of the fork ends. So the forces must be quite high and I'm not convinced regular forks won't end in disaster at some point.

hard to imagine how this can work with disc brakes. Always thought they're mostly invented for downhill or MTB.
That's usually what people said about disc brakes that they haven't tried.

I'm usual and I've never tried (and probably won't) disc brakes. So I exchange my opinion here.

What's the clamp holding the rear mudguard to the seat tube, and the front light to the rack? Cool bike but pah-leez man, the rear mudguard curvature!
-
• #12544
It's a DMR bottle cage or whatever clamp, and the front light is just with a p-clip. The torch is clamped with the seatpost mount for a reflector.
Mudguards is a problem, they're not wide enough so if I pull the curvature out the tyre rubs at the top where it narrows in response. Just need to get around to buying new ones

clamp, p-clip
Thanks
Mudguards is a problem
Bummer, just saw your CP thread about this. I've worked around it on a frame by shaping the guard around the brake bridge with a piece of wood & a hammer. If that makes any sense. You've got to be careful not to overdo it or it looks weird at the brake bridge instead.

931 CDF with Woodchippers, Pacenti-cl25-32-hole-rims-on-sram-x9-hubs, tubeless Kodak 35mm and Carradale saddle bag up front.
What is a good mini rack to rest the carradice on?
Bike rides great now, maybe a shorter stem required but feels way more responsive compared to the heavy old wheels.

Not cheap, but Nitto M18 rack would work.
Bike looks great. -

Yeah m18 if you want silver & bling. Looks like there's mid fork eyelets, for black cheapness you could get something like this

And maybe replace the adjustable struts with longer ones. That's my plan for a front bag support anyway.
Mostly and mainly because I never used them, I was riding roadies in 90's then switched to track. Just exchanging opinions here.
