What should I be looking at (new or second hand) as a replacement for the piece of shit Manitou Axel on my gf's bike? 1 1/8", short travel and plush for someone who weighs fuck all.

old reba 80mm or so.

I do have some old, barely used Fox Vanillas. Currently set at 130mm, but easy enough to convert to 100mm.

How much steerer do you need? Got a Reba Dual Air 100mm, black, with a steerer too short for GF's bikefit.
