And the weirdo South African guy in yellow pedaled on a top tube like a total prick but won the stage so who gives a fuck? #cardpuncher

I'd be astonished if there isn't a bunch sprint today, especially with the Ventoux stage tomorrow.
-
• #931
Will the bit at 113 shake it out a bit? They're not big, but there's the sprint stage, a lump (of sorts) and then 10 k of flat. Will the sprint team be able to bring it back?
-
• #932
Not too much. Breakaway of 3-6 over the early bumps and the catch to be made around Montbazin I reckon.

Stayed in a villa just up the road from the Côte de Villespassan last year, lovely area and would have loved to have a bicycle with me.
Fingers crossed for Cav today.

5 Beaufort from the Northwest, so there's a chance things will get a little bit more exciting on the way to Montpellier

not everyone is looking forward to crosswinds

Gonna have to go with Cav today. Anyone else?
-
• #937
Rumours of crosswinds and not forgetting it was in the first week where froome gained his time on quintana . Fight 😡
-
• #938
Remember the crosswinds and the echelon gap from 2013?
Cav got it then, but I think others will be watching for it this time around.
I'm going to go with Sagan.
-
• #939
Yep.
-
• #940
Sagan overdid it yesterday so I don't reckon he'll be able to contest a bunch sprint too well. I'm going with a Kittel vs Coquard rematch to go in Coquard's favour.

Groenewegen gets my vote.
-
• #942
I'd love to see Coquard win one.
-
• #943
He doesn't need to, he's already proven himself as one of the greats.
-
• #944
Coquard has been going well, the question is, can he keep it up?
-
• #945
Anyone know of anywhere in peckham/camberwell area that will be showing the ventoux stage?
-
• #946
Cycle PS normally does. I will probably head there and 'work from home'.

Pezenas?
Pity the peleton don't have to time to stop off for a true mince pie.

Cycling news reports riders on rollers pre race so they must be expecting a battle from the off . Not like yesterday then . Was it also htc high road who took the initiative to split the pack on a turn . I recall those cheating bdtds with hincapie did the same thing a few yesrs ago .
Bring forth stannard/kirienka to beast it.

I hope Coquard doesn't win today. Sprints like a junior and thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Get in the sea.

Fingers crossed for Greipel.
So true.
