I'd be astonished if there isn't a bunch sprint today, especially with the Ventoux stage tomorrow.

Will the bit at 113 shake it out a bit? They're not big, but there's the sprint stage, a lump (of sorts) and then 10 k of flat. Will the sprint team be able to bring it back?

Not too much. Breakaway of 3-6 over the early bumps and the catch to be made around Montbazin I reckon.

Stayed in a villa just up the road from the Côte de Villespassan last year, lovely area and would have loved to have a bicycle with me.

Sagan overdid it yesterday so I don't reckon he'll be able to contest a bunch sprint too well. I'm going with a Kittel vs Coquard rematch to go in Coquard's favour.

Cycling news reports riders on rollers pre race so they must be expecting a battle from the off . Not like yesterday then . Was it also htc high road who took the initiative to split the pack on a turn . I recall those cheating bdtds with hincapie did the same thing a few yesrs ago .
