Hobbs Barbican Blue Riband frameset

Hobbs of Barbican Blue Riband frameset. I acquired it and was informed that it is 70+ years old and has undergone minor alterations since then. It has the recognisable Hobbs lugwork, but unable to find a recognisable number on the left dropout, nor on the steerer tube, I consulted the Hobbs expert at the VCC. His response was "I am delighted to tell you that your frame is a Continental Superbe (Blue Riband) from, I'd hazard a guess, early 1940s. Beautiful frame."

It's 23" from centre to top. Everything that is pictured is for sale here. I'm after £450 for it. I have a double-fixed 700c wheelset with Airlite hubs, which are available too. More photos to follow.

Here's a photo of the wheelset. Actually, I think I have 26s and 27s too, which might be more age appropriate.

If you have some decent 27"s then I'd be interested in them too. How much would you want for the wheelset above though, if you'll sell them separately from the frame?

Lovely frame by the way. Just too big for me, sadly...
