I had a similar occurrence recently...
I bought a Moog Sub 37 synth off ebay from some guy...Managed to arrange for him to deliver it to my place that weekend...spoke on the phone a couple of times. He calls Saturday morning to say he's by the gates leading into my block...I walk down to meet him, and as I get closer the guy shouts with a slightly bemused voice "Scott?"...as I get closer I realise it's none other than one of my favourite forum OG's Jason 'Build'...Totally caught me off guard, but a nice surprise nonetheless. :) Kinda made me miss the forum old days, east drinks, Grobag towers etc! :)

Just happened to wander into random fish and chip shop in random town on the Buzzard 600k and none other than OG pip was serving in there! Turns out his Dad owns the chippie. That was one of the most random meetings ever. I was a bit spaced out but it was good to have a brief chat.
