Holdsworth 531 singlespeed - one for the smaller ladies! Beautiful mixte machine!

My wife is VERY reluctantly selling her Holdsworth singlespeed bike.

This was lovingly built up for her by our friends at Fitzrovia Bicycles a few years ago but has spent a lot of that time in the shed as she has been using her Brompton instead. As our daughter gets older, it turns out we've accumulated a LOT of crap that needs to be stored in the shed. So this beauty needs to make way :-(

The frame is very light and all the components are of decent quality. Everything in good condition and the bike is ready to be ridden away (chain could do with a bit of a clean, though!)

My wife is 5'1" so should fit anyone around that size or maybe a touch taller.

That frame looks very old ! 40-50s I'd say. I have a similar fork on mine, which is from 1939. Lugless makes me think of a lady rare La Quelda? If there ever was a lady version of it.
Also the seat stays are reminiscent of the Cyclone and similar frameset of that era.

For completeness sake: I believe this is not really a mixte frame. The downtube needs to run all the way to the rear axle for a frame to be called 'mixte'.
I am just noting, this doesn't detract from the value or the prettiness of the bike in any way!
