Very rare tube set that was made by Columbus for Eddy Merckx's hour record attempt in 1972 and Saronni's World Championship-winning Colnago in 1982.
This is a 11-piece NOS tubeset set (Record 'B') complete with original Columbus decals, Cinelli lugs, BB shell, and Columbus box. All tubes are 0.5mm thick except for the steerer tube and head tube.
Also included are fork crown, Campagnolo fork tips and road dropouts.
Not sure of the value, but an Columbus MS 8-piece set is 500gbp (no lugs, crown, tips, BB) and an 11-piece Air Price is 525gbp (lugs but no BB, fork crown or tips) so I've priced it at 550gbp negotiable + freight from Australia
