  • There are multiple fixed crits to enter in the UK, if RHC is supposed to be the most prestigious then its a chance for the strongest and fastest riders to show the rest what hard work and training really looks like.

There are too many "fixie crew" teams that are just out there to get some minor sponsorships and get a few ego wank selfies for instagram.

If more pro teams and brands join we will see money pumped into people that actually train hard, also a lot more technology will be put into fixed crit bikes as it becomes uniquely separate from track racing.

Dani King swept up because she has trained to be the best at competing, not to race for 5 minutes of fame, she's the kind of person that will inspire the next generation of the sport.

I'll definitely spectate if RHC up's their level, and congrats to Trimble for seeing it through and putting serious food on the table.

  • oh snap didnt even know this was you, with the new pic. Speaking teh truth

Shots have been fired i repeat shots fired

  • I'm enjoying your assertion that people who currently race crits other than Red Hook don't train or work hard.

Yeah, these guys are the WORST.

More pro teams and brands! That's what this shit needs.

It's this but that really makes you sound like a bitter cunt.

Are you really that against grassroots participation that you slag off everyone involved?

Surprisingly enough, lots of the riders in smaller teams do it for the same reason lots of people went there - it's fun. If you can get someone to pay for your sunglasses and energy drinks while you're doing something you love, why wouldn't you?

  • Ha! All you said = so true
