Just mental! Not removing the FD clamp?
Yep, this way I could change to 2x11 if I want to at some point.

Unfortunately the bolts are too close together for that to work:

I'm not using mine anymore as I opted for the more recent Zipp stem, do you think you could use this?
-
• #135
Quite possibly! I've just waved a ruler at my stem and the bolts look to be ~9.5mm centre to centre, with a +/- or 0.5mm (it's dark and I'm using a steel ruler).
-
• #136
Same here (9.5mm)!
It would be awesome if you have any spare mount that will fit newer zipp stems so we can swap! I'll take some measurements tomorrow, but in case you don't sell yours or they don't fit, I'll just sell you mine. -

can't you get the di2 d-fly dongle that shows gearing on the garmin?
-
• #138
This is extremely cool. Turned out well and highlights how boring OTP bikes are.
Do update on ride experience etc. Certainly looks fun.

Thanks- and thanks for all your help with the graphics etc.
It's back in the shop this morning having the steerer cut down:

you need one orange and one blue speedplay pedal
and then swap them from side to side when you turn the bike around to confuse people

• #142
Is this on The Radavist yet?

I've already got two types of brake caliper, and an asymetric bottom bracket.

I don't believe so, according to Amey my DOF is insufficient for that to be possible.

The guys that made mine will do a Nice Mount I'm sure. Adjustable too. I'll dig up info....

This is them.
Not the cheapest option. But mine was fully custom. Great service and workmanship too. The garmin can be tilted of moved fore/aft to taste.

• #149
Looks like it only takes bolt pitch of a minimum of 22mm!

I am cheerfully ignorant of the work required here, but given that Tilquist has exited this market it would seem that someone like Mitre Tester, with his tame CNC machinist and design chops might do well in the "boutique Garmin mount" arena.
The one I have on the cross bike doesn't, and the ones I can find on Wiggle are pictured from the right: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/k-edge-aero-computer-mount-for-edge-series-318mm/
