Yeah, I get that. 100k ride it calculates at 200k. No amount of fucking with the settings made any difference. I've had it happen closer to home - trying to turn 20k into 40k, etc.
These days I try to plan routes beforehand a bit more but there's nothing much to be done. I've since installed the City Nav maps so I'll see if it still happens.
My Garmin 1000 is really erratic at routing these days. Hackney to New Malden was initially going to be 66 miles. For some reason I ignored its suggestions and it recalculated to 20 miles, then jumped back to 60 miles. Currently set to route for automobile and shortest distance.
A few months ago it was similarly shit at navigating me to Northolt.
What is wrong?
