Same seller if you look at the other chainsets he is selling he says this.
Chainrings are very high quality with very little wear, like pista they are made to last
So he might not understand track/pista are types of parts and not brands...
Oh and the signed beatles stuff looks dodgy.

Mudguards for a Harry vs Larry Bullitt? Running Schwalbe Big Apples front and rear so not a hell of a lot of clearance between front tyre and bulkhead or rear tyre and seat tube.
Front is 20", rear is 26"
After something with fairly good coverage (appreciate I'll probably have to buy two sets of guards). Any advice gratefully received.

Doh, looks like I got confused with the 5p & 10p, which used to be Cupro-nickel (75% Copper) until 2012.
50p still made of 75:25 cupro-nickel.
20p made of 84:16 cupro-nickel.Graphs from here: http://www.infomine.com/ChartsAndData/ChartBuilder.aspx?z=f&gf=110563.USD.lb&dr=max&cd=1
Can't get much earlier than 2009 for Iron.

"...I got confused with the 5p & 10p..."
That would never happen in Yorkshire :)

Are there any brands that make kitchenware in the UK? Or eu even?
Need a rotary cheesegrater.
If it's all made in China no use paying premium. USA made on broke in 4 months ffs. -

Microplanes all day long. OK, yes, not rotary and USA made, but I've two (one for hard cheeses, one for cheddary consistency cheeses) and they've been faultless for five years. Easy to clean, razor sharp and flat for storage. Unless you are grating industrial quantities of cheese it would be the only choice for me.

Recommendation for table knives, ideally with the blade body extending through the handle, sharp enough for a steak, yet suitable to butter toast?
My in-laws brought back a set made by 'Arcos' that have been going for over a decade now, which seem perfect, but can't find any UK sellers...

I had a Microplane rotary which went to pot in 2 months :/
The steel was fine btw, but the plastic holding the steel grater drum structure in it's cage broke. Not impressed.
I just looked again and they have a new design that may last better (it avoids torque on the bit that broke) so I'll give them another chance unless I can find local. Tx :)

Picture a 1" threaded fork from circa 1980. I need more thread cutting ( 24 TPI x 1" I believe, correct?) down the steerer/column to allow me to adjust the headset. Old school LBS in Dirtfud shut last year :( I'm struggling finding anywhere that'll do it or even attempt to in SE London. Anyone know of anywhere in walking distance of Holborn that could possibly do it?
Ta's.

Fitzrovia?

Might try Bike Fix on Lamb's Conduit street if Fitzrovia can't help.

I've been using one of these http://www.divertimenti.co.uk/cuisipro-box-grater.html?
for around 5 years. It remains as sharp as it was on day 1.
If you aren't set on a rotary one this is the business.
Microplane technology without the plastic pain.
Mine came from John Lewis although they don't appear to sell them any more. -

Thanks. Yeah it all sounds a bit dodgy.
Finding it very difficult to find a track specific one in decent condition in 50-51t with or without pin for a reasonable price.
-
• #77318
or you could swap the headset for one with greater stack, and avoid the challenge of finding someone in north kent to roll more thread
-

Spacers twixt adjustable race and locknut is even less challenging.
Apart from the challenge of finding some spacers.

Why is the 10000mah almost the same price as the 13000mah battery?
Does the 10,000 have some feature that makes it better? They both appear to be the same model just varying capacity.
-
• #77321
Sale price for 13000mAh (should be £30)
Full price for 10000mAh ? -
• #77322
Does the 10,000 have some feature that makes it better?
It has some feature (Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0), whether that makes it better depends on whether your device can use it and whether you'd want it to even if it could.

Or even the bigger one.
I have 2 of the E5 ones got them for £21 a while ago and lasting well I think.

Ta for the pointers to Holborn/Bikefix gentlefolk.
Super, thanks. So, I took a stroll up to Bikefix, Fork in hand, explained problem. Helpful fella explained that they can try but the thread doesn't always cut clean. I accepted the risk and asked 'em to go ahead and try it. 20 mins or so apologetic mechanic came back with only a partially successful extended thread cut, it somehow tapered inwards just where the new thread started which also happens to be the point where the adjustment nut needs to sit (naturally). The adjustable race is 'loose' on that part of the thread and wont tighten enough to allow setting the play in the headset, it jumps the thread. Meh.
Bum.
Stuck with a fork with narrow waisted thread now, bum again. And other rude words its very bad to say.
Options? I'm stuck.
I've copied this onto my waffley ol' Dawes thread to save clogging up this thread out of politeness so any other ideas will be gratefully received over here -> https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/231778/?offset=50#comment13089863

The other one said it was quick charge too I thought. Maybe there's different versions of quick charge. No, I don't want it. I wanted the smaller sized one but it's probably better to just buy the 13000
