  • Purple frame now detailed. All done by hand, no masking or stencil work.

Now ready for a high gloss lacquer, flat, machine polish.

  • Finished!

  • Nice. Is that the same colour purple they did on the Rover 220 coupe?

  • Gosh, no! It's the only purple IN THE WHOLE WORLD like this...

  • I thought it was the whole Galaxy!?!

  • Looks more like Dairy Milk to me.

    #veal

  • Here's what we're currently up to..

  • Still can't believe you stripped that Flying Gate.

  • Chocolate doesn't pay the bills any more.

  • The frame was involved in an accident and had to be repaired. Still with its original owner and the paint-work will be to a higher standard than it was. It's not a very old frame, 2005 IIRC

  • I like that when you do a social media post you give it some #rapha

    It's very cleverest of you.

  • i really dont get the constant negative opinions in this thread. its so boring. i think the paint looks good.

oh no he used a hashtag to gain some more followers on instagram. cry cry cry. give a fuck

jokes here and there are part of the forum, but constantly bashing someone for painting some bikes and showing work in a thread here is so sad

  • was thinking exactly the same thing this morning but never posted
we should get behind small individual outfits like this, hey they have some hash tags and hey they invented a colour but thats what it's all about these days, trying something a bit different
    we should not be haterz

all the hate spilling from politics currently is spreading to general society

  • Agreed... why the constant slagging off? I know the guy's no saint with what's happened in the past but there's no denying that he's doing some good work here

  • I thought it was all a joke that was over my head. Is there some reason for the bad vibes in here? Beyond using hashtags on instagram and enjoying the colour purple?

  • Because he apparently fleeced some members on eBay.

  • Not apparently, confirmed weaselling.

Why would we "get behind" a fucking weasel?

Yeah yeah his paint is ok, but his DT decals are always in the wrong place and he's pulled dodgy deals on several forumers via eBay (but that's ok because it's a "separate business..."

    Srsly @swedeee

  • Thanks for the feedback guys.

I've made mistakes which I held my hands up to and contacted those involved and resolved the issue. I learn't a great deal from it.

  • Would like to show some of the work we're about to take on! Fairly local to us (Nottingham) Salt Cycles are creating some amazing work. Check out this frame..

Here's their Instagram for some pretty frames... https://www.instagram.com/salt.cycles/

Paint process will be on our Instagram

  • Also keen to hear how you all clean your bikes! How often, what processes and products you use please?

  • Occasionally, with baby wipes.

  • muc-off for proper cleaning with hose. baby wipes for other

Also, he tends to use this forum (and others, same posts on weightweenies) for free advertising for his business
