Nice. Is that the same colour purple they did on the Rover 220 coupe?
-
• #429
Gosh, no! It's the only purple IN THE WHOLE WORLD like this...

The frame was involved in an accident and had to be repaired. Still with its original owner and the paint-work will be to a higher standard than it was. It's not a very old frame, 2005 IIRC

i really dont get the constant negative opinions in this thread. its so boring. i think the paint looks good.
oh no he used a hashtag to gain some more followers on instagram. cry cry cry. give a fuck
jokes here and there are part of the forum, but constantly bashing someone for painting some bikes and showing work in a thread here is so sad

was thinking exactly the same thing this morning but never posted
we should get behind small individual outfits like this, hey they have some hash tags and hey they invented a colour but thats what it's all about these days, trying something a bit different
we should not be haterzall the hate spilling from politics currently is spreading to general society

Agreed... why the constant slagging off? I know the guy's no saint with what's happened in the past but there's no denying that he's doing some good work here

I thought it was all a joke that was over my head. Is there some reason for the bad vibes in here? Beyond using hashtags on instagram and enjoying the colour purple?
-
• #443
Because he apparently fleeced some members on eBay.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I've made mistakes which I held my hands up to and contacted those involved and resolved the issue. I learn't a great deal from it.

Not apparently, confirmed weaselling.
Why would we "get behind" a fucking weasel?
Yeah yeah his paint is ok, but his DT decals are always in the wrong place and he's pulled dodgy deals on several forumers via eBay (but that's ok because it's a "separate business..."
Also, he tends to use this forum (and others, same posts on weightweenies) for free advertising for his business
Purple frame now detailed. All done by hand, no masking or stencil work.
Now ready for a high gloss lacquer, flat, machine polish.
