I like the look of the tesla stealth 100 mod as my next bit of kit....it's tiny and seems well protected against clumsiness.....anyone using one? Is it ok for everyday vaping?

Cheers man. Yeah it's always a tough choice. I'll have a look at some twin battery one today I think.

-
• #1555
That looks pretty cool! I think I'll go with that.

I put the TFV8 on today and got it working properly.. it's a beast of a tank, and rips. flavour is on point too. Vaping some Wick Liquor Carnival 1.5% nic. V8-T8 coil reads at 0.16 ohm. using it at 120W but the coil is rated up to 260W ! ! ! !

by the way 3.1 software raises max wattage to 250W if you need it.

Ordered the cuboid. Never been a fan of those nose holes but if you like it. Does remind me of a building on fire haha
-
• #1560
Stupidly didn't realise I'd bought 0.2 SSOCC coils instead of 0.5, so they won't fire in my Nano. Anyone want them, swap for some 0.5? All coils completely unused although one blister pack opened

make sure (as with any dual or triple 18650 mod) you use 'married' batteries... buy as a pair, charge together, use together, and rotate them. Also don't use the USB port for charging.
-
• #1570
Yeah I got a couple new Samsung batteries and a wall charger thing. Still can't decide if the batteries are real or not.
-
• #1572
Also don't use the USB port for charging.
Apart from possible overheating and fires, why not? Is it due to not charging batteries properly?
-
• #1573
won't do it as evenly and Joyetech don't recommend using batteries that are 0.3V or more apart. Perosnally I only charge single 18650 mods (like the vaporshark rDNA 40 ) via USB. for the rest it is a Nitecore D4 intellicharger
-
• #1574
Hmm... Got the 2 battery Nitecore, looks like I'll need to upgrade.
-
• #1575
I always heard it was better to avoid charging batteries with built-in USB ports available on mods; even a cheapo nitecore does a better job and will make you batteries last longer.
Then again, I guess a rDNA has probably a better charging circuit than any Istick or Kanger Mod...
On an other topic, I just bought my first DNA chip Mod, and it's lovely:
or even single, if 80W is enough and you can carry a spare battery:
