He sat up. Presumably to lose time to allow him to get in the breaks in the Pyrenees.

I know he said he would punt for Aru but he doesn't strike me the sort of person to be that kind of Domestique. I would have thought he would stick with Aru just in case things changed and he had a shot at the double.
