• 10 days to go and 3 days into taper, I seem to be hungry and thirsty the whole time, thirst isn't a problem but having to be strict with myself on the food front, as I'm not burning as much and there's not point putting on weight now!

    only thing that isn't sorted is kit, as there was some miscommunication between my club kit person and the supplier and the kit I ordered to replace the one I shredded when I came off in June didn't get made with the rest of the kit in the June order but the supplier is doing all the can, currently have a prototype suit with mine due to arrive on Wednesday, will prob race in prototype suit as I wont get a chance to test the other kit before the day and at least I have a short tri race this weekend to test the kit in, plus a few bits of training here and there.

    is apparently a £300 bit of kit so expecting it to be pretty incredible, worth at least a million watts on the bike and a load of speed on the run ;)

    Feeling good otherwise, I've hit my target swim CSS of 1:30, PB'd at half marathon, and 50 and 100 mile TT this year, seem to have finally fully recovered full shoulder mobility post crash, just a waiting and then execution game now!
