Once I decided to go for it I thought about issues with fading and rather than set out to prevent the fading/blurring effect (if it exists? I was a newcomer) why not have a tattoo that is supposed to look faded and blurred. I wanted flowers so chose an antique French wallpaper print. Seems to have worked.

It was a weird day at the studio, the power went off for about an hour into everyone's tattoos well underway... half of us stayed put and half had to re-book and afternoon cancelled for some of the artists because they were told power could be out for rest of the day... for the whole street!!!
Point is, the 2nd half was hell, twice as painful... now I understand why King of Hearts spray you before you go for your longer than 5 mins breaks...
