@stonehenge I've not looked at those courses, but I've heard of them.
Have a look at the EFHC website as the courses there start this Autumn and I'll be there. The hours could potentially be tricky, but they are flexible.
If you want to start learning straight away then watch some of these walk-through videos:
It's a bit like building bikes, but a lot more precise, and the lubrication principles are much more strict.

It's the classic 36mm. With this spec probably the most boring watch they make.
Yes, very prone to scratching! It was nice brand new and unblemished and it'll be nice when it's scratched all over, it's just the first few that are kind of a drag, but that's life.
