  • Chainline should be 43.5mm.

Road spiders are cross-compatible and give the same chainline regardless of Si, SiSL, SiSL2, Si Hollowgram, Si Forged etc

  • weird, i've just switched to 11 speed and am having real issues getting the front mech working properly, it seems that if the chainrings were a couple of mm further out it would be fine, but as is it isnt trimming properly at all because outer limit screw is so far in.

  • I switched from fsa rings to 2nd hand praxis works and as the chain dropped on the outer side of the rings I took off the fd and wanted to set it up fresh.

It seems that setting up the L screw on the small ring - (physically) big cog configuration runs out of potential for adjustment. Not a major issue but it just rattles slightly. Might be the disc rear 135mm?

I'm also having trouble with the shift from small to big as it requires quite a lot of torque on the lever. H screw is where it is supposed to be and the fd shifts with equal efford between the rings but the force I need to employ for the small -> big -shift is quite significant and more than the fd had on factory settings. Should I try to set up the fd a bit higher?

  • 11 speed here on a CAAD10 working just fine with SiSL2 cranks and praxis rings.

    But that is Di2.

  • Increase your cable tensions a lots, and I mean a lots
