  • He was.

His first collection was a load of T's with 'Gherkin Records' prints on

His last LV collection was all ripped off Christopher Nemeth

He's a plageurist and has fuck all idea's of his own - other than copying others

  • My mates run a fantastic vintage store, used to be based in Alfie's Market but they moved out to SoCal a few years back...

When they were in London their best customers were high fashion clients who got to look at all the new stock first and take their pick before the plebs got a peep...

Six months later that unique piece would appear on the catwalk in one form or another... It's what designers do, they're all at it... Some are smarter than others, that's all...

  • I know

That other fella Gosha Rubchinsky is the same...absolute wank!

  • It's all bollocks...

  • that 2005 collection for umbro now looks very ahead of it's time tho

  • There is almost a sick pleasure in watching a brand you have respected as long as you can remember just dump petrol over their heads and flick matches around.

Fucks sake they are done. I'm out.

  • They're just having a bad few years. It'll be Adidas' turn soon.

  • Nike can still fall back on the classics.

I just don't get the whole presto look.

Guess I'm just 80s kid at heart.

It's the whole gym look that's fucked it.

    Where now?

  • Hold your horses...if brand allegiance was decided on olympics releases nike would have been dead decades ago. That lunar epic low has a lot of things you'd see in a late 80s/early 90s classic nike runner. Heard that the all the AM1's releases from AMD onwards will now have the 2004 (Urawa) shape...samples coming. I cannot wait to see if thats true or not (or how poorly executed it actually is).

  • I still gasp every time I see that AM1 Atmos repro... And it seems to be going for properish money?!?

  • What? You mean the Nike x Alf's Dick collab? They had to make it different enough from the OG to retro it in a way that didn't infringe atmos trademarks and avoid nike handing over a sales royalty.

  • You sound like Vicky Pollard. :o)
