If you happen to be in Cherbourg, Millar and Boulting are putting out a call for help. I'm sure their eternal gratitude will be worth lots, even if it's just bumpstarting a Maserati

  • So hard to avoid spoilers for this, I had to unfollow Sagan on instagram yday.

  • ...Or just avoid twitter until you catch the highlights in the evening?

  • Fortuneo-Vital Concept's Armindo Fonseca has gotten away solo today, already 4'30" clear, bet he wishes he had company.

  • His older brother Mossack used to ride for Radioshack right?

  • Subscribed to eurosport so I can watch on the sly at work. All is good with the world.

  • Enjoy a month of moaning about shitty Eurosport player.

    (Hopefully not, but...)

  • Cav has bulked right up for the track then

  • Loving the fact I got ads at the start of my paid-for content.

  • avoid twitter .... u mad bro ! ^^^^^

  • I never know what to make of Eurosport recipes. But I love the sweeping countryside views of the peloton.

Though the idea of drinking your way around France, by buying a bottle of something to match whatever the region the race occurs in that day... is a great idea. I've tried that before but a lot of wine merchants really don't have much of a range.

  • ^ says the guy complaining about the quality of an internet stream of a bike race...

  • calvados and cidre all the way at the minute

m&s and waitrose do some nice french cidres douce at 2% and brut at 4ish %
the 2% is perfect for all day drinking

  • which calvados tho?

  • zap zing pazow wowza such green
how long has that been aged in old sherry barrels before being bottled

  • Tommy V to make a deathly boring race in to something a bit less boring.

  • edit - n/m - I'm a moron.

  • A day off and nice 75 miles ride in the sun this morning. Having now eaten #allthethings I'm waiting for Voekler to kick things off. C'mon Tim!

  • Anybody know anything about Rennes?

I had to go there on business, twice and was impressed, in a kind of
    'Norwich - local capital' way.

Couple of years later, spent a day there with family on holiday
and was astonished to see major investment, out of proportion to the size of the city,
a huge new library, and a Metro system
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rennes_Metro
    which seemed a bit Simpsons-Monorail.
Anybody lived in Rennes can give some more info?

  • Signed up for Eurosport player so that I could keep a cheeky eye on the tour whilst in the office.

I've not had any adverts when selecting the tour stream, it pops up as an option once the live program for the day starts. I think it might not have any commentary but as I'm listening to it on mute it doesn't make any difference.

Use chrome in app mode and always on top and you can remove all menus and have a very slimmed down browser window hiding in the corner of your monitor.

  • Yeah, offering the tour stream this year is a nice addition.

  • Tommy Tongue!

  • Cav?

    Fuck that was close.
